Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Convixy. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules that apply when you use our website and any of the tools we provide, including PDF conversion, compression, merging, and splitting. Please read them carefully before using the platform. By accessing or using Convixy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

About Convixy

Convixy is a free online document processing platform that allows individuals and businesses to convert, compress, and manage files directly in their browser. No account is required to use any of our tools. We provide these services to make everyday document tasks faster and more accessible for everyone, regardless of technical experience.

Acceptable Use

You are welcome to use Convixy for any lawful personal or professional purpose. You must not use our platform to upload, process, or distribute files that contain illegal content, infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, include malware or malicious code, or violate the privacy of any individual. We reserve the right to block access to users who attempt to misuse the platform or place excessive load on our servers through automated or abusive behaviour.

Your Files and Content

You retain full ownership of every file you upload to Convixy. We do not claim any rights over your documents, and we do not access, read, or use the contents of your files for any purpose other than performing the task you requested. Uploaded files are processed automatically on our server and are permanently deleted shortly after your converted or compressed file becomes available for download. We do not store, archive, or back up user files.

File Size and Usage Limits

Each tool on Convixy has a maximum file size limit, currently set at 10MB per file. This limit exists to ensure fair and consistent performance for all users. We do not currently impose a daily usage limit, but we reserve the right to introduce reasonable limits in the future if necessary to maintain service quality. Automated bulk usage or scripted access to our tools is not permitted without prior written permission.

No Account Required

Convixy does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use our tools. Because of this, we have no way to identify individual users or retrieve files on your behalf after they have been deleted. It is your responsibility to download your processed file before closing or leaving the page, as files cannot be recovered once deleted.

Service Availability

We work hard to keep Convixy available and running smoothly at all times. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance, server updates, unexpected technical issues, or factors outside our control may occasionally cause the service to be temporarily unavailable. We will not be liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by downtime or interruptions to the service.

Accuracy of Conversions

Convixy uses reliable open-source document processing technology to handle conversions. In the vast majority of cases, converted files accurately reflect the original document. However, certain complex formatting, embedded fonts, or unusual file structures may not convert with perfect fidelity in every case. We recommend always reviewing your converted file before using it for important or official purposes. We do not accept liability for errors or formatting discrepancies in converted output.

Intellectual Property

The Convixy name, logo, website design, and all original content published on this platform are our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission. The document processing functionality is powered in part by LibreOffice, which is distributed under an open-source licence. We respect the licences of all third-party tools and libraries we use.

Limitation of Liability

Convixy is provided free of charge on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of files, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to external websites for reference or convenience. These links do not imply endorsement of those sites, and we have no control over their content or privacy practices. Visiting any external link from our website is done entirely at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate, improvements to our services, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the date shown at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of Convixy after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically if you use the platform regularly.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of Convixy will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
